Sales Associate – Full-Time Positions Available
We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and responsible Lead Cashier who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is ready to take on additional leadership responsibilities in our busy liquor store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and deliver the highest level of customer service.
- Assist customers in finding products and making selections.
- Accurately and efficiently operate the cash register.
- Stock merchandise and maintain a clean, organized sales floor.
- Train, supervise, and schedule cashier staff.
- Step in as shift leader when management is not present.
- Handle daily cash reconciliation and end-of-shift reporting.
- Resolve customer concerns and ensure smooth store operations.
- Assist with inventory counts and receiving shipments when needed.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience required (liquor/store retail preferred).
- Proven cash-handling experience with excellent accuracy.
- Strong computer skills (POS systems, basic Excel/Google Sheets, scheduling software).
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience (preferably supervising cashiers or front-end teams).
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to lead by example.
- Verifiable professional references required.
- Ability to train, coach, and hold team members accountable.
- All standard cashier physical requirements:
- Able to lift 50+ pounds and physically bend, stoop, lift, climb, carry, walk, and reach frequently.
- Able to spend up to 100% of shift standing or moving around the store.
- Excellent verbal communication, basic math, and reading skills.
- Flexible availability – must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented.
